Vintage Redeux

What began as a hobby turned into a passion and ultimately a burgeoning business for co-designers and Vintage Redeux owners Rachel Quiles and Megan Balthazor.

Established in 2010, Vintage Redeux is based on the concept of taking one-of-a-kind pieces of clothing and fashioning them to reflect a current design trend. Paying close attention to on-trend fabrics and palettes, the girls aim to offer high fashion aesthetics at an affordable price.

Collecting images and inspiration to weave into their line, their blog offers a glimpse behind the cyclical nature of their work and their vision of the fashion industry as a whole:

“We believe that vintage, street style and high end fashion are all intertwined within themselves, feeding off each others styles and inspirations, it is the circle that keeps the fashion world going round.”

LA based and locally sourced, the team will often take road trips to neighboring states to track down their unusual finds.

One particular trend that is getting a lot of press to date is the aptly named “mullet skirt”, and the Vintage Redeux version is naturally extended to all kinds of fabrics and patterns.
