“Life is short, you have to have fun, be surrounded by people you love, and you have to be inspired.” Such is the world according to Petro Zillia designer and owner Nony Tochterman.

Learning to knit, sew and cut fabric by the time she was seven, Israeli born Tochterman has long been surrounded the world of fashion. Spending hours in her mother’s Tel Aviv factory and trendy boutique, it wasn’t long before Nony was testing the market with her first hand-loomed sweater.

Relocating to Los Angeles, with a valuable and fruitful ten year stint in New York, Nony has created a “Fantasy Fashion Island” of bold colors, detail-driven, retro-inspired designs.

Winner of the coveted Moss Adams Fashion Innovator (MAFI) Award at the first ever LA fashion awards, Nony opened her first retail store in 2006 and has continued to build and diversify her product offering as well as her loyal, star-studded clientele.
