The World of Anna Sui is sweet, girly and nostalgic, with undertones of “good girl/bad girl” across all that she touches.

From her humble beginnings as a fledgling designer to her breakthrough fashion show in 1991, Anna has maintained a passion for her art and a head for her business.

Citing the guiding example of her parents as the main influence for this balanced approach, she was raised to think globally and to focus solely on pursuing her goal as a fashion designer.

Known for her distinctive style and bohemian edge, Anna has enjoyed the support of high profile industry friends such as photographer Steven Meisel, make-up artist Francoise Nars and supermodels Linda Evangelista, Naomi Campbell and Christy Turlington.

At the height of the 1980’s power-dressing era, these friends convinced her to take the plunge and challenge the likes of Versace, Chanel and Lacroix with her softer, more feminine lines.

Her collections were met with applaud and a subsequent host of partnership deals have ensured Ann Sui’s position as a successful global brand.

Antique lace and printed chiffons are used across a whimsical range of dresses, tops and shorts for Summer 2011. Each piece is guaranteed to add an elegant touch of bohemian glamour to any outfit.
